AI is only as useful as the context you give it.

Most teams already have the customer information they need. It just lives in five places.

What a team knows about a customer is scattered across calls, email, Slack, product data, and the CRM. Someone has to piece it together before anyone can act, and an AI tool without that context only produces faster guesses.

Connect first, automate second

OpenNous, an AI platform for customer data built by our team, starts from that problem. It brings those signals into one shared customer record, with a source and a date behind every fact. From there it can prepare an account brief before a meeting, flag a deal that has gone quiet, and draft a follow-up for a person to review.

A person approves what goes out

Suggested CRM updates are written back only after someone approves them, and every answer shows where it came from. That is slower than letting the software act alone, and it is the reason people trust what it says.

The same rules, in client work

Every AI workflow we build follows them: connect the information first, keep a person approving what goes out, and show the source of each answer. The workflows belong to you, documented so your own team can run them.

What it means for you

Before buying another AI tool, list where your customer information lives today. If the answer is five places, the first project is connecting them, and the AI comes after.
